SOFT FOLD is a research project conducted by the designer Davide Biancucci, focused on canvas folding chair.
First presented in 2025 with a namesake exhibition in collaboration with Campeggi, the research now expands with a second edition, presented at Dropcity (Via Sammartini 54, Milan) during Milano Design Week. 
The exhibition involves new designers and companies whose projects have contributed, either in continuity or in contrast, to the evolution of this seating typology.
Developed as a physical archive, it is conceived as a tool for typological comparison, documenting continuity, variations and diversity in design solutions.
