Dimmi di Vico is a collection of videos with special visits to the studio-museum of Vico Magistretti conducted by exceptional guides.
Most of us, at least once, have entered a museum and been guided through the discovery of its treasures. Our memories of these experiences may be more or less positive. But what is the secret behind a stimulating guided tour? Perhaps it is the ability of the guide to narrate an objective story of things, people, events, but filtered through personal experience or a particular perspective and interpretation.
Fondazione Vico Magistretti invited Patricia Urquiola, Stefano Boeri, Gianni Biondillo, Francesco Librizzi and Luca Poncellini to become exceptional guides to the studio-museum experience.
In three videos, these professionals lead visitors through the spaces of the studio, amidst the objects that surrounded Magistretti during the 60 years of his career at Via Conservatorio, narrating the studio and Vico from their own viewpoints, based on professional experience and their own memories.
Dimmi di Vico is a project by Rosanna Pavoni.
Stefano Boeri and Patricia Urquiola videos are curated by Francesca Molteni; Gianni Biondillo, Francesco Librizzi and Luca Poncellini video is curated by Daria Galli and Michela Pandolfi and it has been produced with the support of Fondazione Cariplo.
